I believe in exploring the truths of others rather than manifesting in your own truths. To gain outside perspectives on matters in our society. I also believe in embracing diversity including but not limited to race, gender, and the LQBTQIA+ community. I believe that the government has a responsibility to help those who are less fortunate for the betterment of our country. But, if an able person rejects the opportunity to work and demands support from the government, I believe that they should have to work if they are capable rather than receiving funds that could be going to those who are not able to make an income. American citizens should want to sacrifice a small percentage to help less fortunate because they are not taxed as highly. I believe the government should require citizens to meet this expectation. Three values that every American citizen should have regardless of age, creed, color, religious affiliation or sex are the right to vote, the right to own property, and the right to employment. Other values are extremely important but I feel that the first three are the basis of citizenship.
