Based on the Pew Research Center, I received that I am a solid liberal, along with 16% of the population. I would say that I agree with this for the most part. Solid Liberals consistently support liberal values and I'm not sure that I can honestly say that I consistently support liberal views. But a large majority of the time that's true. As an American citizen, a value that's important to me is equal rights. I believe that more has to be done to address the issue of racial discrimination in this country and how it impacts people of color. I believe that American citizens who have more wealth should want to sacrifice a small percentage of what they make to aid people who are less fortunate. I truly believe that American can be a much powerful nation once everyone in it decides to aid each other in all ways. I'm not sure whether citizens should have to meet this circumstance, but it would be really kind if they did. Regardless of age, creed, color, religious affiliations or sex, I believe that all American citizens should have the right to vote, right to pursue the American dream, and the right to speak without fear or retribution. I feel that with these Americans can contribute to society in a more positive way and lead America towards a brighter future.
